“ Delicious really, perfect eggs benne for the price. Great sunny spot on a fine day. ”
“ Ate here today, quite a lovely place! As a trans couple, we really appreciated the stickers. The food and drink were also very good. (Pictured: Chai, loaded cheeseburger fries and fish and chips). ”
“ Friendly staff, prompt service and terrific view of the harbour. Coffee was excellent, cheese scone was good, however, the portion size did not match its price, "at most $2.50" according to my mate who makes and buys them regularly.(seems to be a trend across many cafes now?) Also a bit interesting to find baking paper mixed in with the batter, new recipe? Overall would recommend to anyone wanting a nice place to have a cuppa after a long bike from town, pick a sunny day and you could go for a dip in the harbour directly opposite from the Cafe. ”
“ Update: we had an amazing lunch here today. We'd fine some walks out on the peninsula and were in need of some good food. We sure found it. The food was delicious, quick (even return a full house), and generous for the prices. My iced coconut latte was the best I've ever had! Outstanding coffee, but what sets them apart from others is shown in the picture - incredible manaakitanga at this place. ”
“ It was an excellent way to celebrate Matariki with my bestie. Front of house was very kind, the food was excellent. Great portion size, the shoestring fries were Yumm and well seasoned, and the coffee was perf. thanks yalll ”
“ A wonderful view of the harbour and a cozy café you have to try if you’re wandering around Portobello Road. The food is good here and the shop is among some fantastic local galleries and shops. ”
“ Absolutely lovely meal.... I was only able to try two meals (the smashed avo and the fig and walnut toast), but they were both so delicious. Definitely should have shared the fig and walnut toast as it was a smidge on the sweeter side for me, but delicious all the same. Would love to come again if I was in the area. ”
“ What a beautiful cafe. Super friendly and helpful staff. Their recommendations were spot on. Had eggs benny and a yummy salmon dish. Flavours were delicious. Highly recommend. Perfect start to the morning and our holiday ”
